“The Music Industry is Ruining Lawsuits” design by: Chunklet

April 30th, 2012 | Blog | Comments Off

We just released a benefit shirt for CASH Music. Designed by Chunklet and produced here at Night Owls, “The Music Industry is Ruining Lawsuits” is available on unisex black Anvil tees. Printed with discharge ink, for a soft wearable feel. Sizes available include: Adult Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large, and XXL.

Everything in this business starts with musicians, but with all the money around music they’re often the last to see any. Most of the artists we know are working so hard just to keep their heads above water. CASH Music is building a totally free platform of tools for artists and labels to sell, share, and promote music directly to their fans. It’s something they have been working on for a long time because they feel it’s vital that all musicians have access to basic web tools that are free, open, and theirs to own.

Please drop by and visit: cashmusic.org for more information. Pick up a shirt in our web cart to help support their great organization!

New gig posters from Brian Ewing

December 15th, 2011 | Blog | 0 Comments

As most know, Brian Ewing does some incredible poster illustration. We were excited to work with him on his last three gig posters: Queens of the Stone Age, Deftones, & The Descendents. Lately he has been utilizing dithered transparent overlays. His work comes close to photographic in the background while still maintaining sharp illustrated lines in the foreground. The finished prints are really something to see in person. There are a small handful of artist editions of The Deftones & Descendents prints still available at his website along with a lot of other great items: www.brianewing.com . I’d suggest snatching them up.

We just completed a beautiful 20×30″ 7-color Jermaine Rogers print titled “Eden” for Ween’s latest Halloween show in NYC. The piece was also published as an art print.

Jermaine will have a small handful available Friday November 11th, at 3pm EST on his website: www.jermainerogers.com The copies available at the show sold out in minutes. Don’t miss your chance!

Jermaine is producing some of the most thought provoking imagery in the poster world today. Commercial art does not have to lack meaning.

Welcome!

Welcome to our brand new website and webstore.  You may have noticed some changes, and we invite you to explore!  Over the course of the last year we moved Pedal Printing in warehouse with our good friends at I Heart U Productions to help build a brand new custom printing shop called Night Owls Print Shop.  You have found yourself here at the sister site, Night Owls Poster Shop.  Where we will continue to offer limited edition silk screened band posters, art prints, clothing, and other goodies.

We have a lot of new release in the works, so please check back often.  Sign up for our mailing list to receive news, updates, event announcements, and specials.

You will currently find our webstore stocked with any leftovers from Pedal Printing, a bunch of new goodies, including dozens of new show prints from events here in Houston, TX.  And a couple of rarities we’ve dug out of the flat files.

If you are in Seattle, WA please stop by and say hi this coming weekend!  We will be exhibiting at Flatstock 31:  Presented by the American Poster Institute in conjunction with One Reel, Flatstock 31 will be held at Bumbershoot Music & Arts Festival on Labor Day weekend, Sept. 3-5, from 11 am to 8 pm daily. Flatstock 31 will be on the Seattle Center grounds inside Fisher Pavilion.
